About Me

I would like to introduce myself to you.  My name is Brandon Granger, and I am your child's physical education teacher. I have a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology, and Master’s of Science in Kinesiology from Lamar University.  I have 11 years experience in education. My mission is to develop and supply a physical education program that builds a quality-learning environment.  Having a quality-learning environment will give every student an opportunity to enhance his or her sense of well-being.  I believe that having an exciting and enjoyable environment will help students better adapt to learning, create a higher self-esteem, and enhance their leadership skills.  My intentions are to support and motivate my students to become the best they can be.  As a physical educator, I want to not only educate my students, but to inspire them to strive for the highest goal...ULTIMATE FITNESS!  I believe in giving each student lifelong healthy behavior skills.

What is Physical Education?

Physical Education is a course that utilizes learning in the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains in a play or movement exploration setting.  The classroom is involved around activities: Included in the program are designed to promote physical fitness, to develop motor skills, to instill knowledge and understanding of rules, concepts, and strategies, and to teach students to work as part of a team, or as individuals, and a wide variety of competitive activities.  The two most important aspects of physical education is having fun and being physically active.

Please read over the rules and requirements for my physical education class that I have provided to your child.  Students must dress out and participate daily or grade will be greatly affected.

I believe that having communication with each student's parents will promote a well-developed classroom. If there are any questions or concerns, please contact me by email at
